Laurie Goes Nuts, Gets Naked At Elimination - She’s Got The Look - Reality TV Circus

Published by bjcrock under Oxygen shows, TV Land Edit This

Laurie was the odds-on favorite to win the new reality TV show She’s Got The Look on TV Land, but then she went batshit crazy and the rest…well, it’s history.

In fact, I can’t ever recall when somebody stripped down to NOTHING on a reality TV show at an elimination ceremony, but we have definitely broken new ground here.

Whether or not the whole thing was a publicity stunt, it just goes to show that you never really know what people are thinking.

And it’s the reason why I’ll be tuning into this show all season. You’re dealing with women in menopause under pressure. Wow.

The Cougar Finale - Jimmy Wins, Then Proposes Marriage - Reality TV Circus

Jimmy, the 23 year-old personal trainer from San Francisco, was the winner of The Cougar, the highly controversial reality TV show that starred Stacey, a 40-year-old real estate broker from Arizona and her quest to find the ultimate younger man.

It all came down to two guys, Jimmy and Colt, a 25-year-old musician from L.A. in the finale. After Stacey sent the early favorite Travis packing last week, it was clear that Stacey still hadn’t made up her mind.

But after she had Jimmy and Colt spend time with her three children, two girls and a boy, it was obvious based on who got along best with her kids whom she would select.

Jimmy cooked dinner for the brood and was at ease with the whole thing, while Colt played guitar and actually seemed tense at the beginning when he talked to Stacey’s oldest, her son Graham.

That awkward conversation is what made my mind up. Also, the fact that Jimmy seemed kind of childlike, a lot like Stacey, leaned me toward that kind of thinking.

And then after she kissed Jimmy on the lips, it was sealed. Jimmy took things a step further by proposing to Stacey and offering her a ring. She accepted and now the two are engaged.

How long? Well, that’s anybody’s guess. In these kinds of shows, it can last a week, a month or even for a lifetime. But most don’t go past a week. What do you think? Will Stacey’s and Jimmy’s vow last, or is Stacey back for season two?

The Cougar - Travis Eliminated, Finale Set Between Colt, Jimmy

Published by bjcrock under TV Land, the cougar Edit This

Well, we are finally at the end of The Cougar on TV Land. And what a memorable show it has been. In fact, it’s kind of replaced the lack of VH1 reality shows on this season, unless you count that flop Daisy Of Love. Heh.

So The Cougar Stacey sent Travis (above photo) home last night, probably a few weeks too late but you can’t win them all, you know. Travis was considerably younger than the other two contestants, and The Cougar probably didn’t wanna double her age with that guy.

And that leaves us with Colt and Jimmy (below photos), two dudes that are almost 20 years younger than The Cougar but not quite. Who should win the show? I think Jimmy has it in the bag, as long as he can explain his situation with the girlfriend shooting a movie. Hmm…

The Cougar Narrows Her Search Down To Four Men - TV Land - Reality TV Circus

Published by bjcrock under TV Land Edit This

The Cougar has narrowed her search down to four eligible young men on the highly controversial but entertaining show on TV Land.

First of all, the uber-young Colt and Travis are still around, but they’re getting some stiff competition from Jimmy (above photo), who gets horny if a cool breeze is blowing.

Watching Jimmy seduce The Cougar is like watching soft core on Cinemax, without the cheesy music and/or groans.

But before that all started, the six remaining in the house had to kiss The Cougar…while she was blindfolded. Meow! The two best kissers would then go on a date with our coug.

Jimmy basically stuck his tongue all the way down her throat but she liked it, naturally. And she even liked Jon, even though he got the boot at the end of the date.

And she also sent the waiter from Boston packing, so four to go.

The Cougar Debuts, Five Go Home The First Night - TV Land - Reality TV Circus

Well, one of the most anticipated reality TV shows in recent history got off the ground on its paws last night, as The Cougar, starring Stacey, a 40-year-old real estate broker from Arizona (above photo), attempted to woo younger men.

This show’s premise has already caused an uproar, getting as much publicity as Tila Tequila did when her historic show debuted on MTV several years ago.

The Cougar wasted precious little time kicking five cubs out of her lair. In fact, the maddening thing about this show is that Stacey doesn’t even say anything during the elimination.

If a man walks up to her and she turns her cheek, it means time’s up. However, if she lets you kiss her on the lips, you still have a shot seducing somebody old enough to be your mother.

And Travis, a 21-year-old from California (middle photo), was the first person saved from elimination. That’t interesting, consdering he’s also the youngest contestant in the house.

And yes, for those of you at home counting, he would be 19 years younger. Kepp in mind that The Cougar has kids as old as this guy. Creepy? Yeah, it might be.

Couple that with the immaturity of the men in the game and the fact the Cougar is dead set on finding the right man, and what you have, is a recipe for entertainment. The kind you haven’t seen before.

Tomorrow we’ll break down the remaining 15 contestants (bottom photo) and their hometowns so that you can have a first-hand look at the guys making this show what it is.
