Well, it’s official. PENTHOUSE Pet of the Year Taya has won Rock Of Love Bus. She beat out her ex-best friend Mindy to be Bret Michaels’ rock of love. What’s funny is, Taya and Mindy were friends up until the finale, which tells you how real reality TV is. Hehe.

Anyway, it came down to Taya and Mindy and Bret couldn’t seem to get over the fact that Mindy just didn’t know how to open up to him. Whether that meant opening certain parts of her body to him, we’ll never know.

Obviously Taya tried to play the innocent girl, the girl next door type, even though she is a stripper and a PENTHOUSE Pet of the Year. So it was obvious to me who Bret would pick, after he went on his final dates with both of them.

He even had the girls pick which engagement ring they would like from a jeweler down in the Dominican Republic. How romantic…

But on the final carpet elimination, Bret shocked everyone by choosing Taya, even though he was 99 percent sure he loved her and 1 percent sure he still had second thoughts, even though she was a walking billboard the entire show.

So instead of giving Taya the ring she picked, he told her after she won that he would give her the ring in time…if their relationship stands the test of time. Sounds to me like Bret has cold feet.

Also, Mindy called Bret a few names, saying he should have eliminated her earlier and referred to him as the “ultimate jerk” and that he had a “rockstar persona.” Can’t wait for the reunion show. There should be some fireworks on that, not to mention Bret will anounce that he and Taya are over. That’s my prediction.
