Shannon Twins Stirring Up Trouble At The Playboy Mansion? - The Girls Next Door - E! - Reality TV Circus

The Shannon Twins, who have reportedly helped nudge Holly out of her cozy spot next to Hef as HBIC in the Playboy Mansion, are now making the rounds in the gossip pages and on message boards.

The message is simple: The twins may be too trashy for even the Playboy Mansion and its guests! You would have to be pretty sleazy to not live up to standards at the mansion. Perhaps the twins should have tried Larry Flynt’s house. LOL

Anyway, several news agencies reported that back in October the twins were reprimanded by Hef himself during the annual Halloween bash. But since the twins’ arrival the stock in Playboy has reportedly “doubled,” according to a source on the E! Online message board via CNBC. So all seems well in the mansion, right?

Uh, nope. MySpace pages from several Playmates who know the twins have actually contained messages also reprimanding the twins and one even went so far as to issue a bulletin! Another, Ashlee Ricci, was reportedly asked to participate in the next season and declined the offer, setting off a firestorm of gossip and even a public “lashing” from the twins themselves. Doesn’t sound too cozy to me!

The other interesting note is that Christie Hefner, Hugh’s daughter, recently resigned her position in Playboy as CEO, effective late January and may be interested in a political career. Hmmmm…Is the Playboy empire undergoing some major changes?

As you can plainly see from the above video, in which Hef discusses his breakup with Holly, things are not what they seem in Holmby Hills.

Tonight’s season finale marks an end then to the three girls we’ve come to know…and one Playmate has even hinted that there may be as many as seven (!!!) girls in the mansion next season. So…as they’ll say in tonight’s “Softball match,” let’s play ball!

The games will really begin this year when they start filming for the next season, alright.
