Daisy De La Hoya (yes, relation of Oscar the boxer) is gonna go where only New York has gone in terms of reality TV dating shows…and that’s try to find somebody after being unceremoniously dumped by a famous musician on national TV. That was Bret Michaels and the show, of course, was Rock Of Love 2.

But now Daisy has her own show and from the looks of her casting site, where tens of thousands of votes have been cast, a ton of fans! It all starts this spring when Daisy Of Love premieres on VH1, the same network that gave you I Love New York.

After Rock Of Love Tour Bus winds down in early spring and Bret Michaels focuses his libido, uh, feelings on somebody else you can rest assured knowing you get to watch somebody Michaels booted.

Daisy will try to do something similar compared to Michaels, except I have a feeling it will be different in many regards. For example, look for a lot of sensitive guys like her now-famous roommate Charles.

If you look at her casting site, she has differentiated the groups of men she’d like to get to know in some interesting categories. The ones that stand out to me are what are termed “Most Wild.” It also looks like a young crowd, about 20-30 years of age, which kinda surprised me, since Michaels was about 50.

There we have Wild (duh), Rocker, Headbanger, Drummer, Heartbreaker and last but not least, Romantic. Heh. So, if you’re a single rocker, headbanger, drummer and so forth, go check it out!
